Don't Worry About It Wow, I'm running a little behind, so, yeah, I know the strip is up a little late (I usually post it at 11:00PM-11:30PM Mondays and Wednesdays, and it's 12:30AM. So I guess I've got some stuff to say. Now. And stuff. Anyway.I finished Alan Moore's V for Vendetta and, I have to admit, I'm impressed. To the point where I'm almost afraid to see the movie. I know they're gonna fuck it up.I also finished Otomo's Akira, and, damn, it's awesome. The ending surprised me. The mild anti-Americanism did not surprise me. Is that a word? Should there be a hyphen? Hell if I know. The editor I built into the website doesn't have a spell checker. I mostly rely on Google to check spelling of words I'm not sure of. Shit, where was I? Akira is awesome, and you should get it and read it. And maybe worship it. Or not, I'm not gonna point at you and call you a heretic. I mean, I might burn you at the stake, but, if so, it would be completely unrelated to you not worshipping Akira. It would probably be for wearning purple after Labor Day, or not stabbing the Pope.
